Questions before you go

Is Itano free?

Yes, today it is, for you and everyone you invite. You can start a trip on your phone without an account, then sign in to sync it, invite people and use the AI planner. If we ever add paid features, we'll tell you before you're charged anything.

Do my friends need the app?

To plan together, yes. They join with your invite link, a QR code or an email invite, and land straight in the trip.

Can some people only view the plan?

Yes. Each invite joins as an editor, who can add stops, photos and expenses, or as a viewer, who sees the plan but can't change it.

Does the AI make things up?

It plans from real places and builds the route around them, and what it makes is always a draft. Nothing is saved until you keep it.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Your trips are stored on your phone, so they open in the metro or on the plane. Changes you make offline sync when you're back.

What if I delete my account?

Your profile and anything only you were on go straight away. Shared trips stay with your fellow travellers, and their expense totals still add up, with nothing that identifies you.
